Omniture Test and Target – an amazing tool!


This is a fantastic tool! It is the next step for analytics! This tool allows you to do many different kind of tests on your website (A/B, MVT, and so on) + also allows you to target your visitors with relevant content to them! In my opinion it is a must!

    I had a look at your website and initially thought you are part of omniture, but in the reality you are not :) right?
    Well can’t tell you much details about the project that I am managing/developing as it belongs to the company that I work for and involves marketing strategies as well.
    But as you can see from the features of Omniture Test & Target there are lot of things that you can do!
    And actually it is something amazing! Let’s say that in someway will also help you in optimizing your SEO from an internal self point of view.
    Actually this is just a small part of things that this tool will allow you to do (of course if well strategically managed) :)
    I am looking forward to make Omniture Test and Target a live tool for my company! ;)

    Additional features: Resegmenting of already collected data, no need of mark mbox (just use already existing div-tags), not as expensive as T&T (And price is based on test participants not server calls. A test participant is only counted when a test is running – with T&T you pay for anytime a mbox is called even is no test is running. This can be really expensive!).

    You are right Marco, Test&Target is impressive, but there are less expensive offerings that can do the same things, and offer simpler interfaces and less coding to implement.

    Actually I evaluated three of the most important analytics and web optimizer suppliers, and what I found in Omniture Test and Target is unique.
    Coremetrics has something similar, but not like Omniture Test and Target.

    I would recommend to be in touch with Adobe team as they will be able to provide accurate figures.
    This depends on many variables, including page views, where you implement the call to test and target, and many more.
