Marco De Cesaris’ blog is a place where I write about all the things that I like and I am interested in. This blog mainly is about New Media, Advertising, Marketing, Technology, Sales, and everything “interesting”

I am Italian and I really hope you understand my English writing… anyway apologies for my “Engl-ish”… better known as “Itlish”

I studied for a Master in Electronic Communication and Publishing at UCL (London).

I have experience in Publishing, Sales, Marketing, and Information Management.

I love the digital/online world: that’s a big problem for me I spend TOO MUCH time reading information, latest news, joining new interesting websites, social network, social bookmark, and so on…

In addition to this I really like “doing” technical stuff: webpages, landing pages, email marketing, and lot more!

I joined del.icio.us and facebook, then recently I joined twitter, digg, flickr. I don’t have time anymore for living my life

My interests include RSS, XML feeds, behavioural targeting, contextual targeting, usability, and online maketing in general (including SEM, SEO). GREAT stuff!

I am still interested also in javascript, xhtml, php, mysql, css and ajax.

But the main things that take my attention are: tracking systems, analytics, media analysis and ‘ad hoc’ analysis based on Enterprise Data Management. I love to integrate and analyze data/information from different sources/departments with the final goal of producing original insights for the business decision makers.
